- Breathe app. I came across this app via Carrie Hope Fletcher. Ever since I’ve downloaded it , I’ve been checking in ( you add the emotions you have been feeling throughout that day and it gives you a meditation type based on your emotions) I usually do 5 to 7 minute meditations when I do it and it really makes me SO relaxed.
2) Headspace app. I found this about a year ago when my mum was very sick and the doctor visits were hopeless. I was meditating with this app when we were visiting doctors or going to the hospital for therapy. I would recommend it to anyone dealing with anxiety or panic attacks while on the go.
3)Self care. I can’t emphasise enough how much self care is CRUCIAL. Whether it’s pampering yourself or taking a bath or shower with your favourite shower gel or just a pat on your shoulder just because you did something that you were afraid of, they are all the SAME. Please please please reward yourself. You have to take care of yourself. Your body tries to keeps you alive, so you have to thank for that by giving it a present.
4)Drink water and get enough Zzz’s. My 15 year old self wouldn’t believe this! I never knew that whenever I drank enough water and had a good night’s sleep, I was in a good mood! If you are someone who forgets to drink water, get yourself a cute water bottle and splash some lemon or put a cinnamon stick or a piece of apple in it. That will make you love drinking water!
