Hello!
As 2019 has arrived and everyone setting up their reading challenges and reading lists, I thought it was time to type this.
Don’t worry, it won’t be that long. I’ll be sharing the books that are currently on my shelf, or the ones that I got as a present. Or on my Goodreads. Hey, comment down your below Goodreads account!
Okay, let’s start shall we? Fyi, this list 100% will be updated. Later on.
- Milkman by Anna Burns
Heard lots of great reviews about this one, eager to read it! Also it won the Man Booker Prize for 2018 so yeah, attractive.
- Pnin- Vladimir Nabokov
I bloody love Nabokov’s style and his short stories! I put this on my list to get into the world of Nabokov books. This is one is 148 pages long, I assume, so it will be an easy read. ( let’s hope)
- White Teeth- Zadie Smith
Owkaay… Tbh, Zadie Smith has always been on my priority list. I always wanted to read her books but never had a time. So yeah, hysterical realism fans. Here we are. With Zadie Smith.
- The Ministry of Utmost Happiness- Arundhati Roy
I’ve been keeping my eyes on this one for a while. It’s 464 pages long, so hopefully that won’t be a problem for me.
- Northanger Abbey- Jane Austen
Jane Austen… I mean. A must read for everyone and including literature students.
- Nocturnes- Kazuo Ishiguro
My little romantic heart would love this. And I know so will your romantic heart.
- A Streetcar named Desire- Tennessee Williams
Deffo on my list to read. This one is a play so HELLO MY FELLOW THEATRE KIDS.
